GOD'S PURPOSE IS THAT WE HAVE ETERNAL LIFE. We receive eternal life as a free gift. "The gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Romans 6:23). We can live a full and meaningful life right now. "I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly" (John 10:10).
